Teclen GmbH was founded in January 2017 and develops, manufactures and sells products for sterile lyophilization in the pharmaceutical industry. Sales activities for our core Lyoprotect® products, the Tray and the Cup showed, however, that these were not necessarily the optimal solutions for every customer. Many users already possess cups, trays or other containers which they would like to cover with a membrane in order to benefit from a freeze-drying process without contamination. But they don’t want to qualify a new container to this end.
These factors led to the idea of the Lyoprotect® Bag, which can be customized to the user’s container dimensions. This means that basically every container, which is used for freeze-drying, can be protected by a Lyoprotect® Bag during lyophilization. Meanwhile, a patent is pending for this idea.
Since October 2021 our quality management is ISO certified.
